In 2016, the world’s first handheld hydrogen breath testing device, FoodMarble AIRE, went on pre-sale. By 2018, over 8,000 devices were shipped to pre-order backers, and regular sales began. In 2019, the AIRE device was validated in a study by the University of Auckland published in Nutrients. In 2021, the Food Intolerance testing kit was launched to support customers in discovering food triggers. In 2022, the AIRE 2 device launched, measuring both hydrogen and methane for digestive health testing.
