Senior Product Owner - Clinical Software

About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Product Owner to work closely with our Chief Product Officer (CPO) in driving forward our innovative clinical research information system, oomnia4. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, conceptual thinking abilities, and a passion for translating complex clinical and technical workflows into actionable product strategies.
The ideal candidate does not need a medical background, but should be comfortable navigating interdisciplinary challenges and supporting the CPO in day-to-day product execution and long-term planning.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CPO in all product-related activities
- Execute the product vision & strategy by detailing the product roadmap with clear priorities and timelines for development
- Translate business and clinical needs into well-structured product requirements and user stories
- Coordinate across teams (engineering, clinical, QA, and marketing)
- Conduct user and stakeholder interviews to gather feedback and validate new ideas
- Oversee conceptual design for new features and workflows
- Monitor product performance metrics
- Support the management of the product lifecycle
- Together with CPO, act as the primary liaison between internal product team and external stakeholders
What we are looking for
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- At least 5 years of experience in product management, systems architecture, or related technical roles
- Ability to grasp complex clinical or regulated workflows quickly
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
- A background in life sciences, healthcare, or digital health is a plus, but not mandatory
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
