Job Description

The average waiting time for a therapy place in Germany is 5-6 months, and many affected people never gain access to effective help. With Sympatient, we are building the first Digital Mental Health Clinic in Europe by combining psychotherapy, technology, and data-driven care.
Our offerings, Invirto® (therapy against anxiety) and Beavivo, connect digital psychotherapy products with accessible care in a nationwide network of immediately available therapy places.
In the Therapy Access area, you support people in quickly and easily starting the appropriate psychotherapeutic care. You actively contribute to the efficient use of our available therapy places and help as many people as possible in a timely manner.

Your Mission

In this role, you are the connecting interface between patients and their path to therapy, helping those who want to start their treatment with us. You assist people in understanding our care offerings and finding the suitable therapy path. You ensure that available therapy places are optimally utilized and no one has to wait unnecessarily. Your goal is to create as many suitable therapy starts as possible, efficiently and with minimal processing time.
  • You are the first point of contact for people wanting to start therapy through Beavivo or Invirto – empathetic, clear, and solution-oriented.
  • You comprehensively advise interested parties on our care offerings – both within health insurance and self-payer models – and conduct convincing, appreciative sales talks.
  • You qualify inquiries based on defined criteria and assign patients to appropriate care pathways or offerings.
  • You coordinate callbacks, assist patients with administrative concerns (e.g., obtaining necessary documents), and ensure a smooth process until therapy begins.
  • You maintain and update relevant data in the system and actively help develop our processes and the structure of our digital patient funnels.
  • You receive individual, structured onboarding and can always rely on the support of experienced colleagues.

What We Are Looking For

  • Motivation to help people gain faster access to psychotherapeutic help and enjoyment in making processes clear, efficient, and smooth.
  • Enjoyment in direct customer contact, comfortable with making many consecutive calls.
  • Completed training or studies in fields such as business, healthcare, communication, social sciences, or similar.
  • Some experience in customer-oriented roles, e.g., gastronomy, call centers, sales, customer service, patient reception, or practice organization.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing tasks.
  • Empathetic, clear, and solution-oriented communication skills, able to adjust well on the phone.
  • Fluency in German at a native speaker level.
  • Interest in gaining valuable experience in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment dealing with patients and customers.
