Job description

Django Developer (m/f/d) I Remote

Full-time, based in Hamburg or remote within the EU/EEA.

About Sympatient

Sympatient is building the world’s first Digital Mental Health Clinic, combining digital care with traditional therapy to improve access to mental health treatment. In Germany, the average wait time for therapy is 5 to 6 months, and Sympatient aims to reduce this wait through innovative technology. The team has launched two pioneering products: Invirto® Therapy, the world’s first fully digital, reimbursed anxiety therapy, and the Beavivo Platform, a nationwide therapist network allowing treatment to start within a week.

Your Mission as a Django Developer

You will develop and maintain a Django-based web application that supports therapists in managing documentation, scheduling, and treatment planning. You'll create user-friendly interfaces for patients to book appointments, fill out questionnaires, and communicate securely with therapists. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will integrate third-party tools and custom software to strengthen the infrastructure. Ensuring high performance, security, and data protection compliance will be key. Continuous improvement based on user feedback and changing requirements is expected.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

Ownership and mentorship opportunities to shape processes and make key decisions, with support from an experienced tech team. Flexible and remote-friendly work from anywhere in the EU/EEA or at the Hamburg office. Meaningful impact on mental health care with a passionate and skilled team. An innovative, agile, transparent, and performance-driven environment that encourages ideas and curiosity.
