Sympatient is building the world’s first Digital Mental Health Clinic, combining digital care with traditional therapy to improve access to mental health treatment. In Germany, the average wait time for therapy is 5 to 6 months, and Sympatient aims to reduce this wait through innovative technology. The team has launched two pioneering products: Invirto® Therapy, the world’s first fully digital, reimbursed anxiety therapy, and the Beavivo Platform, a nationwide therapist network allowing treatment to start within a week.

You will develop and maintain a Django-based web application that supports therapists in managing documentation, scheduling, and treatment planning. You'll create user-friendly interfaces for patients to book appointments, fill out questionnaires, and communicate securely with therapists. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will integrate third-party tools and custom software to strengthen the infrastructure. Ensuring high performance, security, and data protection compliance will be key. Continuous improvement based on user feedback and changing requirements is expected.

Salary starting at 57,500 EUR gross annually, based on experience. Degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field. At least 5 years of experience in developing and testing complex Django solutions or other Python frameworks. Experience with frontend frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, or HTMX beneficial. Technical mindset, detail-oriented, hands-on mentality. Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
