Data Protection Coordinator (m/f/d)

About the Role

You will be the key contact for all data protection matters on a daily basis and support your team with clear oversight and professional expertise. You coordinate collaboration with our external data protection officer and ensure all relevant information is reliable and targeted. You handle requests from affected individuals and assist in assessing and documenting data protection incidents to ensure transparent and compliant actions. You develop our internal processes further, maintain documentation, and contribute to embedding data protection as a core part of our company culture.

Who We Are Looking For

Experience in data protection and practical knowledge of GDPR requirements.
Degree in computer science, business informatics, law, or similar qualifications.
Experience in project management, structured work approach, prioritization, and confident management of data protection projects.
Clear and solution-oriented communication and effective collaboration with colleagues from various departments.
Very good German and English skills, written and spoken.
Willingness to occasionally visit Hamburg if not living in the area.
Nice to have: Completed data protection training and ideally certified data protection officer.

About Sympatient

Sympatient aims to improve access to effective treatment for people with mental illness in Germany through innovative digital therapy offerings. They operate through the Beavivo platform and Invirto app to provide quick patient access to first-class care, bringing together an optimistic team from diverse backgrounds like psychotherapy, design, business, and IT united by the vision to positively change the lives of those affected by mental illness.
