The Job

This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) Maternity Cover. Product operation managers at Flo value the user's needs above all else and contribute to the product management team’s success by optimizing processes, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, managing resources, and ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality products. The team works closely with Analytics teams to understand the 'why' behind user experience to create unrivaled user experiences. The Product Operations team supports product management by handling day-to-day tasks involved with development, influencing strategy, and driving actual change. This position reports to the Head of Product Operations and involves developing business processes, setting team goals, identifying and developing strategies for priorities, and analyzing data.

Your Experience

Must have:
  • Significant (usually 5+ years) experience working as part of Product teams in software/consumer tech development companies
  • Strong experience in teams employing advanced product management and software development techniques, using scaled agile frameworks
  • Demonstrated background in providing solutions based on problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Strong operational background with a track record of data-driven decision making
  • Ability to execute and deliver complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Understanding of product development processes and familiarity with tools and technologies used by product and engineering teams
Nice to have:
  • Scrum master experience or similar qualifications in scaled agile workflows
  • Experience in product startups with scale-up experience
  • Experience with analytical tools (JellyFish, Jira Analytics, SQL queries) to identify trends and generate insights

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage large projects and coordinate across multiple stakeholders in support of strategic initiatives
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the priorities of product teams and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Regularly refine processes and outcomes to foster team adaptation and learning
  • Analyze data to guide decisions and measure performance
  • Manage tools for smoother product lifecycle workflows and team collaboration
  • Streamline development by setting scalable standards, clear communication, reducing inefficiencies, and fostering innovation
