Senior Product Manager - Gen AI & LLMs

The job involves productising GenAI by creating and managing chatbots that provide personalised conversations using cutting-edge machine learning, specifically LLM-based technologies. The role is as a product manager for the ‘AI Foundation’ team at Flo Health, which includes machine learning engineers and data scientists working closely with the Chatbots engineering team. The position requires collaboration with medical, data privacy, security, and legal teams to ensure deployed LLMs are safe and secure. The manager will handle the roadmap, contribute to company goals, and make data-informed decisions, focusing on productionising LLM-based chatbots and building technical infrastructure for integrations, evaluation, analytics, and monitoring frameworks.
Must have experience:
- 3+ years in product management with technical, data, AI or machine learning experience
- Experience launching Gen AI or ML-based features into production and leading teams of engineers including ML engineers and data scientists
- Good knowledge of Gen AI trends, tools, and technical landscape with genuine interest in the domain
- Experience running experiments
- Demonstrated fast-paced delivery with iterative test-and-learn approach
- Ability to handle ambiguity and collaborate cross-functionally
- Excellent stakeholder management, ideally in regulated environments with clinical, legal, data privacy, and security teams
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills; technical collaboration ability with engineers and designers
Nice to have:
- Prior healthcare experience
- Background in STEM such as data science, analytics, or mathematics
Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations of the AI Foundation team including sprint planning, refinement, and roadmap management
- Collaborate with 3rd parties developing Gen AI foundations and ecosystems integrated into Flo's architecture
- Oversee prompt improvements
- Build core foundations for LLM-based products, including evaluation frameworks, monitoring, analytics, ML pipelines, model APIs, integrations, and system tools
- Work with product designer, content designer, and UX researcher to design and deliver new features
- Lead team initiatives aligned with company OKRs
- Identify user needs and problems, prioritising them using quantitative and qualitative data
- Manage clear product requirements and feature descriptions to enable efficient work
- Define and monitor product success metrics with data-driven goals
