The Job

The Design team focuses on creating the best user experience on the Flo app by being data-informed researchers, innovators, content and design experts overseeing platform execution and validation. With new design leadership, this is an exciting time to join the hyper-growth startup and build the future.
As a Senior Product Designer in the User-Centric stream, you will design complete user journeys supporting women across stages of health, from first period to menopause. This role involves crafting holistic experiences to help millions of women manage their well-being.
The stream is shaping the future of femtech with work on perimenopause experiences and scores, GenAI-powered insights and chats, weight management, and the Well-being Score.

Your Experience

Must have:
  • 6+ years designing digital products for web and mobile platforms.
  • Portfolio showcasing strategic product design projects with measurable impact.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Passion for complex user journeys, detail orientation, and design communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end design process including collaboration with engineers.
  • Strong competence in Figma and other design tools, including creating interactive prototypes.
  • Expertise in accessibility (A11Y) ensuring consistency, scalability, and inclusivity.
Nice to have:
  • Experience in health tech.
  • Knowledge of AI and large language models (LLMs) for idea creation.

Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive, user-centered experiences that empower users to understand their bodies and health.
  • Collaborate with UX Researchers and Data Analysts to gather insights and validate designs.
  • Support Product Managers and Design Leads in shaping initiatives and roadmaps.
  • Partner with Content Designers to enhance content-driven experiences.
  • Run discovery and ideation sessions such as design sprints and workshops.
  • Develop end-to-end user journeys from prototypes to high-fidelity mockups.
  • Advocate for accessibility to ensure inclusive and scalable designs for diverse user groups.
