Job Overview

Medical and scientific credibility is core to Flo. This role is part of the User Centric team, focusing on content and advising across product and marketing on medical accuracy and user experience.
The position is a 12-month maternity cover for a fully qualified doctor experienced in women's health and health tech, working alongside a team of experts in healthtech and women’s health.

Experience Required

  • Medical Degree
  • At least 3 years clinical experience
  • Extensive experience in women's health as a GP or OBGYN
  • Experience working in a healthtech setting
  • Experience reviewing medical content and creating user-facing health information
  • Excellent command of English (C2 level or higher)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of clinical safety, medical governance, and regulatory requirements in digital health
  • Experience collaborating with software product development teams on health-related digital tools or platforms

Responsibilities

  • Ensure medical accuracy and safety of Flo’s mobile app
  • Review English-language medical content including articles, videos, and courses
  • Collaborate with various teams to brainstorm, brief, and review medical content
  • Work closely with Flo’s Expert Board to peer-review content for accuracy and adherence to guidelines
  • Support feature development through medical research and contributions
  • Provide expert input on medical risk assessments and regulatory compliance
  • Attend team meetings and use tools like Figma, Jira, Miro, and Google Workspace

Targets

  • Be the main medical contact for at least one product team
  • Bring medically appropriate ideas for product implementation
  • Achieve 100% medical accuracy in content and features
  • Improve medical review workflows

Employment Levels and Salary Ranges

  • Medical Advisor (L2): London £60,000-£75,000, Vilnius €3,895-€4,794
  • Senior Medical Advisor (L3): London £75,000-£90,000, Vilnius €4,794-€5,753
  • Lead Medical Advisor (L4): London £90,000-£109,500, Vilnius €5,753-€6,999
  • Principal Medical Advisor (L5): London £110,000-£130,000, Vilnius €6,999-€8,309
