We're searching for a visionary Senior Marketing Data Scientist to strengthen the Marketing Analytics function. This role involves transforming the understanding of user behavior, optimizing acquisition strategies, and driving sustainable growth. It is a strategic position with direct influence on key business decisions alongside the leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Redefine Marketing Measurement by designing attribution frameworks, building marketing mix models, and running experiments to identify performance drivers.
- Bridge Product and Marketing by analyzing the user funnel from acquisition to retention and providing data-driven recommendations for marketing effectiveness and product features.
- Shape Predictive Modeling by collaborating with ML engineers on methodology, feature engineering, and model evaluation revealing lifetime user value for smarter investments.
- Uncover Hidden Patterns by analyzing user behavioral data, campaign touchpoints, and conversion journeys to develop customer segments and personalized marketing strategies.
- Drive Experimentation by working with marketing teams on experiments, lift studies, and incrementality tests to improve conversion rates and ROI.
- Challenge Assumptions by providing data-driven insights to strategic conversations with senior leadership, including the Director of User Acquisition, CMO, Analytics, and Finance leaders.
Experience Required
- Proven track record applying data science to marketing challenges with experience in predictive LTV models and marketing mix models to inform strategic decisions.
- Strong foundation in statistical methods, experiment design, and data modeling focused on marketing performance optimization and channel mix interpretation.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, ideally with experience in Databricks environments.
- Familiarity with data visualization and marketing analytics platforms (Looker preferred).
- Understanding of digital marketing ecosystems and key metrics across channels.
- Ability to translate complex analyses into influential narratives for decision-makers.
- Collaborative mindset for working with product, marketing, finance, analytics, and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
