The Job
Flo is looking for a Senior/Lead Machine Learning Engineer for their Predictions team, focusing on delivering accurate cycle and symptom predictions for users. The role involves menstrual cycle modeling, pattern recognition in symptoms, symptom predictions, wearable device data utilization, and deploying state-of-the-art ML solutions to improve personalized user experience.
Your Experience
Must have:- Solid understanding of classical ML algorithms
- Success in building and deploying large-scale machine learning models for real-time user service
- Strong skills in systems design and ability to architect and explain ML pipelines
- Proficient in Python programming for model development and deployment
- Experience with data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark
- Familiarity with various feature engineering techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to responsible AI practices including fairness, accountability, and transparency
Nice to have:- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields
- Knowledge of statistical fundamentals, time series analysis, and A/B testing
- Strong data visualization skills
- Experience in the MedTech domain
Responsibilities
- Develop and test complex ML systems to improve female health with accurate and personalized insights
- Build and validate product hypotheses rapidly, owning ML products end-to-end
- Research and implement cutting-edge ML solutions to add user value
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and analytics teams
