The Job
Flo is looking for a Senior/Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join the Predictions team focused on menstrual cycle modelling, symptom patterns and predictions, wearable device data integration, and more. The team develops state-of-the-art ML solutions providing accurate cycle and health predictions to users, enhancing the app's personalized experience.
Your Experience
Must have:
- Solid understanding of classical ML algorithms
- Experience in building and deploying large-scale ML models serving users in real-time
- System design skills with ability to architect and explain ML pipelines
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience managing data pipelines with tools like Apache Spark
- Familiarity with feature engineering techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to responsible AI practices including fairness, accountability, and transparency
Nice to have:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Familiarity with statistical fundamentals, time series analysis, and AB tests
- Strong data visualization skills
- Experience in the MedTech domain
Responsibilities
- Develop and test complex ML systems to improve female health by delivering precise, personalized insights
- Work in a fast-paced environment to build and validate product hypotheses, leading ML products end to end
- Research and implement state-of-the-art ML solutions continuously
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and analytics teams
