The Job
This is an exciting period of growth for Flo. The Senior Content Designer will play an essential role in developing features and contribute to an exciting roadmap for 2025. The role requires designing user-centered content that promotes growth by viewing the product through the eyes of users while balancing business needs and championing Content Design as an integral part of the product team.
Your Experience
Must have:
- Proven experience in prototyping new products, designing end-to-end experiences, and creating impactful micro-copy for optimizations and experiments.
- Strong ability to devise design solutions, create processes, and manage deliverables balancing business needs, user needs, and best practices.
- Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Experience with iterative design processes and experimenting to optimize user journeys.
- Expertise in using both quantitative and qualitative data to inform content design decisions.
- Confidence in facilitating workshops, critiques, and content reviews to ensure high-quality work and help others improve content design.
- Highly organized with the ability to effectively prioritize content deliverables within a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including designers, product managers, and leadership. Skilled in explaining design hypotheses, processes, and rationale.
- Continuous seeking of opportunities to improve user experience, workflows, and processes.
- Experience designing for mobile apps and working on regulated topics like health or finance.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Miro) and a strong understanding of design systems and workflows.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment with varied challenges.
Responsibilities
- Create clear, concise, and compelling content for Flo’s in-app core experience.
- Help define propositions for new features, shape narratives, and collaborate across teams and product streams.
- Collaborate with Product Designers, UX Researchers, Data Analysts, and Product Managers to define and design new experiences within the app.
- Partner with Conversation Designers, Editorial, and Marketing teams to deliver impactful and consistent content across the user experience.
- Work with Medical, Science, and Legal teams to ensure content meets industry and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with Localisation team to maintain consistency across markets.
- Facilitate workshops, crits, and reviews.
- Leverage data-driven approaches for content design decisions using internal tools and insights.
- Identify opportunities to enhance user experiences and collaborate cross-discipline to find solutions.
- Advocate for Content Design within team and broader community.
- Promote human-centered design, readability, accessibility, and inclusivity.
- Support other Content Designers by sharing best practices and collaborating.
