The job


Legal and Compliance are partners across the business at Flo. They oversee Flo’s privacy programme, regulatory compliance, contract management, and IP enforcement.
The team is divided into three groups: Privacy & Data Protection, Regulatory & Compliance, and Legal Services.
The Legal team is seeking a highly motivated Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join a team spread across Lithuania and the UK, working globally for a fast-paced scaling tech unicorn.
The candidate will handle operational and administrative responsibilities, including reviewing minor contracts, assisting with vendor onboarding, and overseeing legal contracting processes.
Requirements include strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a willingness to learn in a busy tech environment.

Your Experience


Must have:
  • Legal degree and/or 2-3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role.
  • Fluent English (CEFR C2 level), both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Proactive and able to work independently and in a team.
  • Willing to learn and handle diverse tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Nice to have:
  • Experience reviewing and drafting basic legal documents like NDAs.
  • Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience.
  • Experience with vendor onboarding.
  • Familiarity with contract management software (e.g., Gatekeeper).
  • Experience with legal and organisational tools like JIRA and OneTrust.
  • Knowledge of legal research tools and databases.
  • Excel proficiency.
  • Formal paralegal certification or degree.
  • Experience in tech and/or health industries.
  • Experience in international business.

Responsibilities


  • Support Legal Counsel with review, drafting, and management of simple legal contracts and documents, including NDAs and amendment letters.
  • Adapt and update template agreements.
  • Manage administrative aspects of legal contracting processes ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding including document verification and compliance checks.
  • Maintain and organise legal files and documents.
  • Assist with contract storage and review for key terms.
  • Coordinate deadlines and maintain operational SLAs.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with legal research and document preparation as needed.
  • Support the legal team with administrative tasks like data entry, filing and correspondence.
  • Help improve legal department processes and procedures.
  • Take ownership of and improve administrative task efficiency.
