The Job

Flo has grown from a few hundred employees to a multinational business of around 500 people, supported by a superb People and Talent team managing attraction, retention, and motivation of a diverse, international workforce. As an HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role by providing support to HR Business Partners and expert advice to management. You will work on employee relations matters and people practices end-to-end, fostering a fair, consistent, and engaging work environment aligned with organizational goals, ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Your Experience

Must have:
  • Minimum of 3 years of solid HR experience as an HR Advisor or Employee Relations Specialist.
  • Proven track record managing and advising on employee relations and people practices.
  • Experience with end-to-end process improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and EU employment law, especially in employee relations and performance management.
  • Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, growth environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Data-driven decision maker proficient in Excel or Spreadsheets for analysis and presentation.
  • High empathy, emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and discretion with confidential information.
  • Comfort working in a global and multicultural environment.
Nice to have:
  • CIPD qualifications or equivalent.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience in partnering with a software technology organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations issues end-to-end ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Support HR Business Partners with sensitive, complex cases including performance, absence management, grievances, disciplinary actions, and restructuring.
  • Coach managers and leaders on HR policies and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Implement people agenda initiatives and enhance people-related processes for organizational scaling.
  • Create and maintain HR templates, scripts, and documentation to support management.
  • Stay updated on local employment laws, collaborate with People Operations for compliant policies and customer-centric advice.
  • Provide timely people analytics, data insights, and reporting to drive inclusive stakeholder relationships.
  • Manage HR administrative tasks in HRIS (HiBob) and collaborate on employee lifecycle processes.
