The job
Flo is hiring Engineering Managers in Vilnius to lead a squad building the next generation of privacy-first, AI-powered health tools for a global audience.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and growing a high-performing engineering team
- Setting direction, shipping fast, and owning outcomes
- Building reliable, scalable, and secure systems
- Guiding architecture decisions and unblocking delivery
- Championing engineering quality, speed, and autonomy
- Coaching the team in hiring, development, and promotion
- Collaborating across disciplines to turn product ideas into reality
Requirements:
- 6+ years coding in Scala, Java, Kotlin or Objective-C/Swift
- Experience building distributed systems at scale
- 4+ years managing engineers and leading teams
- Proven track record of hiring, mentoring, and building inclusive cultures
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and agile delivery
- Strong product mindset focused on user experience
Nice to have:
- Exposure to ML or data-powered products
- Full-stack experience
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling
- Background in consumer tech or mobile apps
- Knowledge of A/B testing
