Job Overview

Responsibilities

Lead the GenAI technical strategy and implementation including developing model benchmarking, AI tooling, human-in-the-loop systems, dataset methodologies, AI infrastructure, performance optimization, and quality metrics.
Provide cross-functional leadership partnering with medical and product teams to ensure model safety, define usefulness metrics, and align technical decisions with business objectives.
Manage people by building high-performing teams, coaching engineering managers, driving hiring, fostering inclusive culture, and setting clear goals.

Required Experience

Deep technical expertise in GenAI systems and infrastructure.
Proven leadership of engineering teams.
Strong cross-functional leadership skills.
Experience with AI safety and evaluation frameworks.
Successful product delivery track record.
Excellence in stakeholder management and technical decision-making.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary starts from GBP 160,000 gross plus stock options (Band E, one level below C-level).
