Position Summary: Content Design Lead role in User Centric product teams, leading a community of content designers to create engaging, user-focused digital experiences. This role requires prioritization, leadership, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Experience Required
- Previous leadership role in creating and improving user-centric, data-driven digital experiences.
- Ability to motivate a high-performing, ambitious team under pressure to meet business goals.
- Strong relationships and influence with senior stakeholders across product, research, analytics, engineering, legal, and marketing.
- Portfolio demonstrating use of data and research to create quality user journeys and content.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, iterative design, and optimization of user journeys and conversion rates.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Sketch, and familiarity with design systems and workflows.
- Strong communication skills for articulating design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in reviewing and improving content created by others.
- Understanding of content design’s role within the wider business context.
- Growth mindset with an openness to feedback and learning.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and shifting priorities with agility.
Additional desirable experience includes working with LLMs and gen-AI tools, consumer health apps, and startup environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead content designers to deliver scalable and engaging user experiences for Flo’s female health audience.
- Create content that meets medical, legal, and user needs for release readiness.
- Analyze team work performance and impact on business goals, plan improvements.
- Present work and insights to broader teams and run knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Develop and maintain a culture of design excellence at Flo.
- Ensure stakeholders understand and value content design’s role and impact.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, researchers, content, medical, legal, and editorial teams.
Targets and Success Metrics
- Meet delivery goals and metrics such as increasing average revenue per user, improving conversion rates to premium subscriptions, and boosting app engagement.
- Demonstrate data-driven improvements in user experience and business outcomes.
- Align effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
- Innovate in content design to drive audience acquisition, engagement, and optimize processes.
- Create a positive, collaborative team environment.
