Job Description
Flo is seeking an Independent Contractor Moderator for their Community Moderation Team (English, any time zone). The contractor will ensure that the Flo Secret Chats deliver an engaging and safe social experience by moderating user-generated content such as posts, comments, and pictures following community rules. The contractor will work closely with the Moderation Lead and the Moderation Team.
Responsibilities include content moderation of texts and images posted by users without separate processes for different content types.
Potential challenging content may include topics like rape and abuse stories, miscarriage and pregnancy termination stories, sex-related content, mental health topics like depression and anxiety, and eating disorders.
Qualifications
- Experience and understanding of online communication platforms such as forums, group chats, and social media
- Knowledge of modern online slang and social media trends
- Open-mindedness and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Perseverance and discipline for routine moderation work
