ASO Lead

The job

The ASO Lead will manage Flos strategy across app stores and organic search globally to increase visibility, maximize traffic, and innovate marketing funnels. The role involves leading a high-performing team and driving cross-functional initiatives for sustainable growth, reporting to the Director of User Acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a robust ASO strategy across key markets.
  • Grow traffic and revenue from organic channels for short- and long-term growth.
  • Build, lead, and grow a strong team of ASO experts.
  • Lead and nurture relationships with other teams to enhance Flo’s store presence.
  • Stay updated on the latest ASO and digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Manage relationships between Flo, Apple, and Google to strengthen store presence.
  • Develop and deliver cross-functional Ratings strategy to ensure high star ratings on iOS and Google Play.
  • Report performance to stakeholders regularly.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of ASO experience with 2+ years managing an ASO team.
  • Proven track record of growing organic traffic for a top-grossing app in multiple regions.
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and hands-on attitude.
  • Strong understanding of app store algorithms on iOS and Android platforms.
  • Proficiency with ASO tools such as SplitMetrics, AppFollow, AppTweak, Sensor Tower.
  • Experience in team management and driving high team performance and satisfaction.
  • Collaboration experience with tech, creative, and paid marketing teams.
  • Experience working with Apple and Google on featuring opportunities and insights.
  • Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Google AI Studio to improve marketing workflows.
  • Experience implementing rating strategies across Apple and Google stores.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the Health & Fitness Category.
  • Familiarity with developer consoles.
  • Product marketing, brand/PR, or SEO experience.
