This unique hybrid role is for a pragmatic AI/Automation Engineer and strategic partner. The person will identify high-impact opportunities and deploy advanced AI-powered solutions that drive efficiency across the company. The role involves embedding modern AI and automation tools into daily operations, transforming workflows for non-technical teams, from foundational integrations to complex, custom-engineered solutions.
The ideal candidate has practical experience applying GenAI tools to business problems, owning the entire process from identifying pain points to designing, building, and delivering robust, scalable solutions.
Your Experience
- 2-3 years of experience designing and implementing production-ready GenAI and automation solutions.
- Expert-level experience with low/no-code platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n) and proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python).
- Experience creating LLM-backed solutions, strong prompt engineering skills, and understanding of model selection and evaluation.
- Experience with REST APIs, technical infrastructure setup (API keys, authentication, deployment environments).
- Ability to translate business pain points into technical requirements and deliver solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-technical audiences.
- Background in change management or technology adoption.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
Ideal candidate is technically savvy and people-oriented, proactive in problem-solving, motivated by real-world impact, pragmatic about AI implementation, and able to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with non-technical departments to identify operational pain points and automation opportunities.
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions using low-code platforms, APIs, and custom code.
- Own full lifecycle of internal solutions from prototype to adoption.
- Support AI Governance, advising on tool suitability, and ensuring responsible AI adoption.
- Lead demonstrations, workshops, and training to drive tool adoption.
- Evaluate new models and technologies for process improvements and innovation.
- Liaise between business units and technical teams.
- Advise departments on commercial AI models based on use cases.
- Develop and maintain automated metrics and tracking for AI/automation initiatives.
