Job Overview

This is a first-of-its-kind role at Flo Health, where the VP of Strategic Partnerships (Corporate Development & M&A) will be a strategic member of the CFO's topline team, responsible for driving the company's inorganic growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Flo's partnerships and corporate development strategy in collaboration with the CFO and executive leadership team.
  • Identify and structure strategic partnerships to increase customer acquisition and unlock new channels and routes to market.
  • Partner with third-party platforms and technologies for product integration to enhance product value and drive user growth.
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities aligned with Flo's mission and long-term business objectives.
  • Create a framework for long-term planning including industry trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
  • Build and manage the M&A funnel and ensure visibility on all M&A activity in the space.
  • Create processes for identifying and assessing strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including legal, medical, finance, product, and engineering during deal exploration and execution.
  • Develop and present comprehensive business cases for strategic initiatives to the executive team.
  • Lead deal negotiations and structure transactions to maximize value creation.
  • Lead due diligence processes including financial, commercial, technical, medical/regulatory, and cultural assessments.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key industry players, investment banks, and venture capital firms.
  • Oversee post-acquisition integration planning and execution for successful outcomes and synergy realization.
  • Build and manage a high-performing corporate development team.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate development, M&A, or investment banking.
  • Proven track record of scaled M&A transaction execution from sourcing through integration.
  • Strong communication skills within product and engineering teams on complex integration projects.
  • Strategic vision combined with exceptional cross-functional execution capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of technology business models; knowledge of digital health and consumer subscription markets is a plus.
  • Strong financial acumen including valuation methodologies and deal structuring knowledge.
