The job
The Design team focuses on ensuring the best experience on the app for users. They are data-informed researchers, innovators, content, and design experts focused on execution and validation of the platform and its features. Design the future of everyday health, combining gamification, health data, and behavioral science to help users build stronger habits and deeper self-awareness. The role is for an outstanding product designer who thrives on complexity, designs for systems, and elevates product experiences through craft, suitable for a Staff-level designer or a Senior designer ready to advance.
This is a pivotal individual contributor role driving impact through deep expertise and craft. Responsibilities include setting the quality bar, tackling complex design challenges, and collaborating closely with product, research, engineering, and content teams to create a playful, emotionally resonant, and innovative experience.
Your Experience
Must have 10+ years designing consumer mobile apps, with a strong portfolio showcasing systems thinking, visual craft, and user-centered problem-solving, interaction design skills with micro-interactions and motion, strategic and hands-on approach, and proficiency in Figma and advanced prototyping tools.
Nice to have experience includes designing gamified or behavior-change-driven experiences, health tech background, AI and LLMs knowledge, and basic understanding of Lottie or Rive.
Responsibilities
Shape the vision and drive design strategy and execution for ambitious cross-functional initiatives. Design playful, meaningful features to help users with well-being and healthy habits. Lead complex design initiatives from concept to launch. Develop scalable interaction models and visual systems. Collaborate and mentor within the team. Contribute to design vision, language, accessibility standards, and motion principles. Champion inclusive and ethical design.

Salary
Senior: £102,500 per year
Staff: £113,700 per year
