Job Overview

The Senior Product Marketing Manager role involves embedding marketing skills and experience into a fast-moving, product-led environment. This role requires a data-driven, stakeholder-focused, and entrepreneurial mindset to build the role of Product Marketing in the product development process. The position is within the User Centric Stream and involves close collaboration with Product, Medical, User Research, Growth, and Brand teams to shape user engagement with Flo's features.
Success depends on bringing the voice of the user into product decisions, using data and testing to refine positioning and messaging, and navigating complex stakeholder dynamics confidently.

Qualifications

Must have:
  • 5+ years experience as a Product Marketing Manager in B2C app-based software products, with health and especially womens health as a strong bonus.
  • Experience working in Product-led environments driven by user needs and Product team priorities.
  • A strong marketing toolkit to craft compelling messaging, plan campaigns, and translate user insights into action.
  • Proven ability to use data and testing to inform and improve work.
  • Comfortable working with diverse, opinionated stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Medical, and Marketing.
  • Highly adaptable, can-do mindset, able to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with CEFR C2-level English.
  • Independent, hands-on, and motivated to make an impact.
Nice to have:
  • Experience in regulated HealthTech or Digital Health.
  • Familiarity with the female health and wellness space, or strong interest in supporting womens health and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the role of Product Marketing in the User Centric team by embedding fully in the Product team and building strong relationships with Product Managers.
  • Bring a marketing mindset to product development, helping teams think about positioning, value articulation, and revenue modeling from feature development stages.
  • Design and run data-driven tests to learn what resonates with users, refining messaging and value propositions accordingly.
  • Create clear processes in an ambiguous environment.
  • Position and grow new and priority features and user journeys, such as Perimenopause, Flo for Partners, and Flo for Teens, in collaboration with Product and UX teams.
  • Develop internal go-to-market plans to increase adoption of key features and ensure users understand Flo's offerings and their importance.
  • Own marketing performance metrics related to engagement, activation, and revenue for supported features.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders, especially strong Product teams, to embed marketing insights in every product lifecycle stage.
  • Contribute tools, templates, and ideas to the central Product Marketing team to raise the discipline's standard.
  • Partner with Medical, Claims, and Copywriting teams to develop clear, credible, and compelling messaging.
  • Work closely with Brand, Social, and Communications teams to turn feature launches into broader moments of user engagement and advocacy.
  • Manage multiple shifting priorities, respond quickly to new opportunities, and ramp up fast on new projects.
