The Job
The Senior Performance Marketing Copywriter role combines creative strategy with data-driven performance marketing. The job requires understanding women at every life stage to create compelling, conversion-driven copy that stays true to Flo's voice.
Responsibilities include creating and optimizing ad copy for paid user acquisition campaigns across Meta, Google, and other performance channels, working on video scripts, static ad headlines, and motion copy.
The copywriter will develop creative concepts based on audience psychology and cultural insights, transforming data into storytelling through interpreting campaign metrics such as CTR, CVR, RoAS.
Collaboration with content strategists, designers, and video editors is key to building on-brand, high-impact ad creative at scale.
Maintaining a unified, authentic, empathetic tone of voice across all paid assets is essential, alongside contributing strategically to channel experimentation and creative development.
Candidate Requirements and Experience
Must have proven senior creative or copywriting experience in performance marketing or paid social, preferably within high-growth consumer apps, healthtech, or wellness brands.
Strong grasp of direct-response copywriting principles with track record of writing for video ads, social scripts, and landing pages that perform in data-driven environments.
Ability to balance creativity with hypothesis testing, quick iteration, and data analysis.
Experience in fast-paced collaboration with content strategists and designers.
Analytical mindset comfortable interpreting campaign metrics (CTR, CVR, CPA, LTV) to guide creative decisions.
Exceptional written communication with sensitivity to tone and audience in women’s health topics.
Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for concepting and creative iteration.
Understanding of frameworks for Meta/TikTok ads (hook-problem-solution, testimonial, UGC formats) and standard tools like Figma, Jira, Looker.
Nice to have background in women’s health, femtech, or wellness products and experience scaling paid UA creative operations in start-up/scale-up environments.
