The Job
This role is part of the User Centric team of Medical Advisors who oversee the medical accuracy and credibility of user-facing content and marketing communications for Flo. The Senior Medical Advisor will work closely with marketing, product, and medical experts to ensure that all content is medically accurate, credible, and aligned with current medical guidelines. This is a unique opportunity to impact the health of millions of women through medically accurate promotion of Flo's features and materials.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the medical accuracy and credibility of Flo's marketing and social media channels.
- Perform thorough medical reviews of marketing communications, articles, videos, courses, and other health-related content in English.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams at Flo to brainstorm, brief, and review medical marketing communications.
- Work with Flo’s Expert Board to peer-review concepts and campaigns for accuracy and adherence to medical guidelines.
- Support development of onboarding flows by gathering medical research and contributing to content creation.
- Provide expert input on medical risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory standards for marketing materials.
- Participate in team meetings and use tools like Figma, Jira, Miro, and Google Workspace to manage tasks effectively.
Targets
- Be the main medical point of contact for marketing at Flo.
- Bring medically appropriate ideas to marketing teams for implementation.
- Aim for 100% medical accuracy in communications, collaborating with the Medical Experts board and in-house medical team.
- Improve medical review workflows in supported teams.
Requirements
- Medical degree.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
- Experience working with marketing teams in health-tech or related industry settings.
- Experience reviewing or creating marketing communications, social media content, and user-facing promotional materials.
- Excellent English communication skills (C2 level or higher).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in women’s health as a GP with interest in women’s health or as an OBGYN.
- Understanding of clinical safety, medical governance, and regulatory requirements in digital health products.
- Experience collaborating with software product development teams on health-related digital tools or platforms.
