Job Overview

The Senior Medical Advisor role is part of the User Centric team, responsible for ensuring medical and scientific credibility in Flo's marketing and social media channels. The team works closely with medical experts, internal teams, and product developers to maintain medical accuracy and credibility across the platform.
The position requires a fully qualified doctor with experience in women's health, marketing, and health tech, working collaboratively within a team passionate about improving women's health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the medical accuracy and credibility of marketing and social media content.
  • Review medical communications including articles, videos, courses, and other health-related content in English.
  • Collaborate with various teams to brainstorm, brief, and review medical marketing content for accuracy.
  • Work with Flo’s Expert Board for peer reviews and adherence to medical guidelines.
  • Support onboarding flow development by gathering medical research.
  • Provide expert input on medical risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance of marketing materials.
  • Attend team meetings and collaborate with medical and supporting teams.
  • Utilize tools like Figma, Jira, Miro, and Google Workspace.

Qualifications and Experience

Must have:
  • Medical Degree.
  • At least 1 year experience as a clinician.
  • Experience partnering with marketing teams in health-tech industry settings.
  • Experience reviewing or creating marketing communications, social media, and promotional content.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (C2 level or higher).
Nice to have:
  • Experience in women’s health (GP with interest or OBGYN).
  • Understanding of clinical safety, medical governance, and digital health regulatory requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with product development teams for health-related digital tools.
