Job Overview
Build systems powering the #1 Health App for Women. The role involves handling complex, distributed, secure backend engineering core to the product. The Senior Backend Engineer will join the Martech Integrations team to build:
- Systems to automate campaign management, creative delivery, and budget allocation.
- Integrations with 3rd-party platforms and APIs for marketing automation.
- Scalable backend systems for reliable campaign operation at large scale.
- Tools to help marketing teams work faster, smarter, and reduce manual bottlenecks.
Tech stack includes Scala/Python, with support for ramp-up. Key skills are problem-solving, ownership, and continuous learning.
Candidate Experience
The ideal candidate has 7+ years experience building distributed backend systems, skilled in making systems fast, reliable, and secure. Fluent in Java, Scala, Python or similar languages, with DevOps, database (SQL & NoSQL) knowledge, and API design skills. Strong coding practices, ownership, and product-minded thinking are essential.
- Bonus: Experience with internal marketing tools, campaign automation, creative delivery, or budget management.

Salary
Salary range is €6,500 - €10,000 gross per month, varying by skills and experience.
