The job

Flo is looking for a Creative Strategist (Video) to join their paid UA team. The role involves combining sharp strategic judgement, creative flair, and strong leadership to craft video paid UA campaigns that capture attention and drive results. The role focuses on turning performance data into fresh breakthrough creative concepts, not on video editing. The candidate will analyze what works, ideate what's next, and direct others to bring it to life.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic creative concepts for paid video campaigns across social platforms
  • Analyze performance data (CTR, CR, ROAS, engagement) to identify insights and opportunities
  • Write sharp creative briefs translating insights for designers, writers, and video editors
  • Partner with UA and growth teams to test hypotheses and scale performance
  • Review and optimize creative iterations ensuring alignment with brand and business goals
  • Spot trends and cultural moments to inform future campaigns
  • Guide the creative process from concept to execution and analysis

Experience

  • 2+ years in performance marketing, creative strategy, or growth marketing roles
  • Portfolio showing data-driven creative concepts with measurable results
  • Deep understanding of paid social creative performance and testing methodologies
  • Strong communication skills to translate insights into creative directions
  • Fluency in English and ability to craft ideas for a global audience
  • Familiarity with creative production workflows without hands-on editing
  • Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace
  • Curiosity for new formats, cultural trends, and AI creative tools
  • Results-oriented mindset
  • Nice-to-have: familiarity with budgeting and resource allocation for creative projects
  • Experience working with creative partners (writers, motion designers, video editors)

Success Metrics

  • Growth in video creative’s contribution as a driver of paid UA success
  • Consistent improvement in video creative performance metrics (ROAS, CTR, conversion rates, engagement)
  • Tangible impact on paid UA campaign growth and ROI
