The job
The ASO Lead will manage Flo's strategy across app stores and organic search globally to increase visibility, maximize traffic, innovate the marketing funnel, and lead a high-performing team. The role reports directly to the Director of User Acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering ASO strategy across key markets.
- Growing traffic and revenue from organic channels.
- Building and leading a strong ASO team.
- Leading cross-team initiatives to enhance store presence.
- Staying updated on ASO and digital marketing trends.
- Managing relationships with Apple and Google.
- Developing a ratings strategy for high star ratings on iOS and Google Play.
- Reporting performance to stakeholders regularly.
Required Experience
- 5+ years ASO experience and 2+ years managing a team.
- Proven track record growing organic traffic for top apps in multiple regions.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
- Deep understanding of app store algorithms (iOS, Android).
- Proficiency with ASO tools (SplitMetrics, AppFollow, AppTweak, Sensor Tower).
- Team management experience with a focus on performance and satisfaction.
- Experience collaborating with tech, creative, and paid marketing teams.
- Experience working with Apple and Google to boost featuring and gain insights.
- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Google AI Studio) to enhance workflows.
- Experience in rating strategies for Apple and Google platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Health & Fitness category.
- Familiarity with developer consoles.
- Experience in product marketing, brand/PR, or SEO.
