About us: Fimo Health is a young startup from Bonn developing data-driven solutions to support people living with chronic diseases. We offer thesis opportunities that connect academic research with real-world digital health work and provide direct involvement in ongoing projects and datasets. Tasks
We offer a variety of thesis topics in clinical research and digital health. Possible focuses include:
- Scientific evaluation of our app: Study the app’s effects on specific target groups in clinical or everyday contexts and prepare scientific publications from the collected data.
- Concepts behind features: Analyse and improve the scientific concepts behind app features such as feedback mechanisms, intervention strategies, or data-driven recommendations.
- Data analysis and publication: Process and interpret real-world usage data from the Fimo Health app and prepare results for publication to contribute to evidence-based health research.
- Custom topics: If you have another idea or want to combine elements, get in touch.
Qualifications
Responsibilities (to be agreed with your supervisor):
- Conduct a comprehensive literature review on your chosen topic.
- Develop a research design for clinical studies, app-effect evaluations, or data-driven analyses.
- Independently carry out and analyse studies or data analyses.
- Prepare scientific results for publication in journals or conferences.
- Consider ethical and data protection requirements.
Ideally, you are self-organised, show initiative, have good English skills for communication within an international team, and are motivated to contribute to a young company and its mission.
