Please note this is not an entry level position. We are seeking 2+ years of experience handling conference producing in event space.
Questex is currently seeking a Conference Producer to join the Fierce Life Sciences & Healthcare Events Team. This role is focused on conference programming, research, writing, and storytelling for the life sciences and healthcare industries.
Responsibilities and Team
The preferred work location is in our New York office. Washington D.C. or remote locations will be considered.
As a Conference Producer you will:
- Conduct extensive market research and targeted outreach to develop engaging live experiences and educational conferences.
- Cultivate strong relationships with subject matter experts, thought leaders, and key members of the industry to recruit speakers, advisory board members and event advocates.
- Develop content and oversee all aspects of a program throughout its entire life cycle.
- Help inform marketing strategy and develop messaging and marketing materials for websites, emails and social media.
- Collaborate with the sales team to assist in identifying potential event sponsors and developing key messaging for clients.
- Work with clients and internal colleagues to create advertorial content for webinars, podcasts, white papers and other products.
- Travel to conferences to provide onsite management and customer-service-oriented support.
Qualifications, Experience & Culture

Your experience and education include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of business experience required. Conference/event backgrounds are preferred.
- Prior knowledge of the life sciences, pharmaceutical, payer, or healthcare industry is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, experience, education, and other factors.
