Since its founding in 2019, Famedly has been committed to digitalizing medical communication processes in a data protection-compliant manner and revolutionizing the healthcare system. Famedly has launched the first TI messenger certified by gematik to improve communication and collaboration within the healthcare sector. This enables medical teams to exchange sensitive patient information, images, and other files in real time and from any location - from medication plans, lab values to X-ray images. As a dynamic, remote-first startup based in Berlin with a growing and experienced team, we work together every day on our vision of a healthcare system without information barriers. Famedly relies on open-source software and mainly uses and actively develops Matrix and FHIR.
As a System Administrator (m/f/d), you are part of a talented team of developers at all levels and bear a central responsibility for ensuring the technical integrity, security, and performance of our product.
Responsibilities
- Integration of systems in customer environments
- Configuration and administration of servers, networks, and firewalls
- Planning and execution of system updates and upgrades
- Ensuring availability of systems and applications
- Troubleshooting disruptions in system operations
- Creation of concepts and individual customer solutions for system integration
- Taking on on-call duties
Requirements
- Experience with system integration in customer environments
- Strong knowledge of Ansible and Python
- Strong knowledge in networks
- Several years of experience in system administration and infrastructure engineering
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Basic knowledge of container technologies like Docker and Podman
- Completed training or studies in computer science or a comparable qualification is desirable
