Job Description

THE POSITION: The Payroll Administrator will be a local representative of the Payroll Department, supporting EVERSANA operations across Europe. In this role, the Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing and reviewing payroll throughout Europe – prioritizing accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The Payroll Administrator will also be the main point of contact for employee inquiries, as well as payroll-related third-party communication. The position reports directly to the Senior Director of Global Payroll.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Process and audit payrolls across Europe, ensuring timely and accurate payroll output; maintaining compliance with statutory requirements and company policy.
  • Partner with local HR to facilitate documentation processing required for compliance and payroll, including bank documents, social insurance, tax, and other identification documentation.
  • Partner with payroll vendors for timely and compliant filing for statutory reporting and payments to local government agencies.
  • Serve as main point of contact for all employee payroll-related inquiries.
  • Act as liaison with local government agencies as applicable.
  • Support Corporate Headquarters in the US with research on local laws and customs.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for improvement proactively.
  • Build strong relationships with team members, business partners, and leaders to resolve business challenges.
  • Adaptability in a growing and changing environment, including working across time zones with US-based partners.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or job-related field.
  • 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably with multiple European countries.
  • Experience with payroll in Switzerland and Poland is ideal.
  • Proficient in statutory requirements including social insurance, tax, work rules, statutory reporting, and understanding of local customs versus requirements.
  • Business-level English proficiency, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to complete tasks and meet deadlines accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with empathetic communication.
  • Ability to investigate and address payroll issues appropriately.
  • Effective communication across all business levels and timely escalation of payroll challenges.
  • High attention to detail with flexibility to shifting business needs.
  • Collaborative work approach and strong business partnerships.
  • Self-motivated, creative problem solver with resilience.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with protected data.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with implementing new payroll software or technology.
