Job Description
Medical Communications is part of our integrated commercial services fundamental to building credibility and relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and industry clients. The role includes call center staffing for responding to product information requests, identifying adverse events and product quality issues, and medical writing.
The role is home office based, full-time, ideally located in Poland, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, the UK, with legal eligibility to work in the European Union or UK required.
Candidates must be committed to working US business hour shifts—9 hours between 2:00 PM and 2:00 AM CET, Monday to Friday.
Essential duties:
- Translate English documents into target language and respond on phone or in writing.
- Triage and respond to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients.
- Disseminate drug information verbally or in writing.
- Identify adverse events and product complaints and perform intake to generate reports per SOPs and regulations.
- Utilize writing skills for adverse event narratives and medical inquiry responses.
- Coordinate quality-related complaint processes involving QA, Regulatory Affairs, and complainants.
- Evaluate medical literature and develop information for dissemination.
- Participate in miscellaneous projects including market research and sales training.
- Medical writing and on-call responsibilities as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Customer service maintenance and improvement, working remotely or at European Hub Office, working US shifts Mon-Fri with occasional Bank Holiday work, travel up to 10%.
Qualifications
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Pharmacy degree required.
- Strong clinical background, excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Mother tongue fluency in English required; ideally C1 or C2 level fluency in any European language.
- Strong translation skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- MPharma, PharmaD degrees.
- Experience in Call Center, Medical Information, pharmaceutical industry, clinical experiences including writing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Medical Information Management Systems.
- Positive attitude, energy, communication skills, innovation, high ethical standards.
