Job Description
The Medical Communications position is essential to building credibility and strengthening relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and industry clients. Responsibilities include call center staffing for responding to product information requests, identifying and reporting adverse events and product quality issues, and medical writing. The role is home office based and full-time, ideally for candidates located in Poland, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, or the UK. Legal eligibility to work in the EU or UK is required. Candidates must commit to US business hours shifts (9 hours between 2:00 PM and 2:00 AM CET, Monday to Friday).
Key duties include translation of documents, triaging and responding to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients, disseminating drug information verbally or in writing, identifying adverse events and complaints in compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, medical writing, coordinating quality complaint responses, researching medical literature, and additional projects like market research and sales training support. On-call responsibilities may apply. Travel up to 10% may be required.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include a Pharmacy degree, strong clinical background, excellent verbal and written communication skills, mother tongue fluency in English, and ideally C1 or C2 fluency in a European language. Strong translation skills are also essential. Preferred qualifications include advanced pharmacy degrees (MPharma, PharmaD), experience in call centers, medical information, pharmaceutical industry, clinical settings, medical writing, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and medical information or safety databases, positive attitude, strong communication skills, innovation ability, and high moral and ethical standards.
