Job Description

Medical Communications is part of our integrated commercial services. This position is fundamental to building credibility and strengthening relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and industry clients. The role delivers services including call center staffing for responding to product information requests, identifying and intake of adverse events and product quality issues, and medical writing.
The role is home office based, ideally located in Poland, Ireland, the UK, Italy, Portugal, Germany, or Spain. The job holder must be legally eligible to work in the European Union or the UK. Working hours are US hours, with 9-hour shifts between 2pm and 2am CET Monday to Friday.
Essential duties and responsibilities include translation of English documents into the target language or vice versa, responding to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients, disseminating drug information verbally or in writing, identifying adverse events and product complaints, writing adverse event and product complaint narratives, coordinating response processes for quality-related complaints, evaluating medical literature for drug information, medical writing, on-call responsibilities, and miscellaneous projects such as market research and sales training support.

Qualifications

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required include a life sciences or healthcare degree or equivalent, strong clinical background, excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English (C1 level) and native Spanish, and strong translation skills.
Preferred qualifications include a Pharma D or M Pharma degree or MSc in Life Sciences or healthcare fields, call center, medical information, pharmaceutical industry or clinical experience including medical writing, fluency in English and native Spanish, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and medical information management systems, positive attitude, communication skills, innovation, and high ethical standards.
