Job Description
This position is fundamental to building credibility and strengthening relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and industry clients. The role includes call center staffing for responding to product information requests, identifying and intake of adverse events and product quality issues, and medical writing. It is a full-time home office-based position ideally located in Poland, Ireland, the UK, Italy, Portugal, Germany, or Spain, with the job holder legally eligible to work in the European Union or the UK. Working hours are US hours with 9-hour shifts between 2pm and 2am CET, Monday to Friday.
Essential duties include translation of English documents to/from the target language, triaging and responding to drug information inquiries, disseminating drug information verbally or in writing, identifying adverse events and product complaints, utilizing writing skills for narratives and custom responses, coordinating quality-related complaint responses, evaluating medical literature for dissemination, handling miscellaneous projects including market research and field liaison support, medical writing, on-call responsibilities, and other assigned duties.
Expectations include maintaining and improving customer service, home office or European hub workplace, working specified US hours, contributing to process improvements that positively impact call center metrics, and occasional travel up to 10%.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include a Life Sciences or healthcare degree or equivalent, strong clinical background, excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent English (C1 level), and mother tongue fluency in Spanish, strong translation skills.
Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees such as Pharma D, M Pharma, or MSc in Life Sciences or healthcare related fields, experience in call centers, medical information, pharmaceutical industry, clinical experience including medical writing, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and medical information management systems, a positive attitude, strong communication skills, innovation, and high ethical standards.
