Job Description
Medical Information is a critically important customer-facing function that supports the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical company products by providing timely, scientifically balanced, evidence-based, non-promotional information in response to unsolicited requests from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers. This position delivers industry-leading services including responding to product information requests, identifying and handling adverse events and product quality issues, and medical writing for responses.
Essential duties include responding to inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers, handling multiple communication channels, identifying adverse events and product complaints, coordinating processes for product quality complaints, maintaining product and therapeutic knowledge, providing medical writing, staffing scientific medical affairs booths, on-call responsibilities, and various projects related to market research and process improvements.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include an advanced healthcare degree (preferably PharmD or higher), pharmacist license, experience in contact centers and pharmaceutical industry, proficiency with telephony and medical information databases, therapeutic expertise, and strong communication and innovative skills.
