Job Description
Medical Information is a critically important customer-facing function supporting the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products by providing timely, scientifically balanced, evidence-based, non-promotional information to healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers. The Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) team supports client success by managing assigned clients through implementation, ongoing management, regular touchpoints, and meetings. This role involves mentoring junior staff and participating in projects to support the MICC team.
This is a full-time home office-based role, and candidates must have valid work permits in the European Union or the UK. The position operates during US hours.
Essential duties include client management, medical information support, project management, and staffing scientific medical affairs booths. Responsibilities include ensuring client success and satisfaction, triaging medical inquiries, handling adverse event and product complaint reporting, and maintaining product and therapeutic knowledge. The role requires excellent documentation, customer service, and medical writing skills.
Additional responsibilities include miscellaneous projects, continuous development in diversity, equity, and inclusion, and other assigned duties.
Qualifications
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities include a healthcare or life sciences degree (Pharmacy degree preferred) and one to two years' experience in Medical Information or pharmaceutical industry.
Preferred qualifications include advanced healthcare degree (PharmD preferred), 2-5 years' experience in Medical Information or pharmaceutical industry, contact center and pharmaceutical environment experience, project and time management skills, proficiency with telephony and Medical Information database systems, and strong therapeutic expertise. Fluent English is required; additional languages are desirable.
Candidates should possess positive attitude, strong communication skills, innovation mindset, and high professional integrity and ethics.
