Job Description

Medical Information is a critically important customer-facing function supporting the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products by providing timely, scientifically balanced, evidence-based, non-promotional information to healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers. This role ensures client success through oversight of assigned clients, including implementation, ongoing management, and regular touchpoints. The role also supports hiring and mentoring junior staff and participates in additional projects for the Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) team. The position is home office based, full-time, and candidates must hold a valid EU or UK work permit. This position works US hours.
Key duties include client management, responding to medical information inquiries, adverse event and product complaint handling, medical writing, staffing scientific medical affairs booths, on-call responsibilities, and miscellaneous projects supporting MICC teams.

Qualifications

Minimum: Healthcare or Life Sciences degree (Pharmacy degree preferred) and 1-2 years of experience in Medical Information or relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
Preferred: Advanced healthcare degree (preferably PharmD), 2-5 years in Medical Information or pharmaceutical industries, contact center experience, project and time management skills, proficiency in telephony, Medical Information database, Microsoft Office, and video platforms. Knowledge of therapeutic areas and ability to critically evaluate literature is important. Fluent English required; additional language skills desirable. Experience in specialties like Oncology, Hematology, Immunology, and others is a plus. The role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, innovation, and high principles.
