Job Description

The Medical, Legal and Regulatory (MLR) review is crucial in healthcare marketing to ensure advertising, promotional, and non-promotional content is accurate, compliant, and ready for publication. The Medical Content and Review Specialist manages the MLR process for a dedicated client, ensuring all administrative and program management support operates effectively and complies with policies and regulations. This full-time, home office-based role is ideally located in Poland, Germany, Ireland, the UK, Italy, Portugal, or Spain, with legal eligibility to work in the EU or UK required.
Responsibilities include managing the entire MLR process, scheduling and leading Review Committee meetings, documenting and filing meeting minutes, ensuring materials are properly vetted through the review process, enforcing policies, verifying materials, rejecting incomplete submissions, facilitating discussions, quality checking final compared to approved documents, and updating MLR SOPs. Additional support duties involve project planning, supporting medical content development, uploading materials to review platforms, and supporting Medical Affairs and Medical Information leadership in project plans. The role demands meeting metrics, maintaining customer service, timely coordination, flexibility in work scheduling, and generally no travel.

Qualifications

Education: Graduates in any Life Sciences / Biomedical field.
Must communicate effectively in English orally and in writing.
Experience: At least 2 years in a healthcare agency or pharmaceutical company, experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats/MedComms, scientific writing/reviewing/MLR, project management, time management, meeting management, and excellent customer service skills.
Technology: Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications include Pharmacy or Medicine graduates, knowledge of global healthcare compliance laws, ability to perform independently, excellent computer skills, multitasking abilities, knowledge of US drug/device advertising laws, medical terminology knowledge, quality-oriented mindset, adaptability to processes, positive attitude, strong communication, innovation, and high ethical standards.
