Job Description
At EVERSANA, our integrated life sciences compliance team supports advanced Biopharma and research companies in innovating novel therapies for rare, critical therapeutic areas. This role reports to the Manager, Medical Content Development, collaborating closely with the EVERSANA Compliance Business Unit and other departments like Medical Information, Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, and Quality. The position involves supporting clients including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, digital therapeutics, and OTC companies, especially small and emerging ones. The role focuses on content development-related client engagements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Manager, Medical Content Development on content-related engagements for integrated commercialization deals and consulting services.
- Create medical and scientific content for Medical Affairs, Medical Information, and Medical Communications including Scientific Response Documents, FAQs, Slide Sets, Abstracts, Posters, Education, and Training materials.
- Manage the client document development process from gathering materials to facilitating medical, legal, regulatory reviews.
- Use document management technology platforms such as Veeva PromoMats/MedComms appropriately as content owner.
- Perform scientific data fact-checking for documents supporting medical review teams.
- Contribute to strategy, execution, and communication discussions for projects.
- Participate in key client meetings and support thought leadership content preparation.
- Help create and update SOPs, templates, style guides, and guidance documents.
- Mentor and coach team members and support hiring and onboarding.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and support leadership in operational improvements.
- Collaborate with other medical writers and creative teams across EVERSANA.

- Deliver client delight and ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Work collaboratively within EVERSANA and with clients, managing timelines and quality.
- Travel up to 10% post-COVID. Average work hours 40+ hours/week.
Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- PharmD, M.Pharm, M.S. Pharm, PhD, or MD with medical writing and content development experience.
- Minimum 4 years in life sciences/pharmaceutical industry with extensive medical writing experience.
- Medical Information, Medical Communications, Scientific Communications experience.
- Strong communication skills, including written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a matrix team setting, meeting or exceeding timelines.
- Familiarity with AMA Style Guide, clinical research principles, applied statistics, and medical publishing guidelines (ICMJE, GPP, PRISMA, STROBE, CONSORT).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Acrobat, and other applications; experience with literature search tools and reference management software.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices related to Medical Information, Medical Affairs, and material review.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to deliver results.
- Highly principled with integrity and ethical behavior.
- Collaborative working across EVERSANA and clients.
- Agile learning ability to support multiple disease states and therapeutic areas.
- Experience developing medical content for new product launches.
- Experience publishing abstracts, posters, manuscripts.
- Experience across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Experience with Veeva Vault MedComms / PromoMats.
