Job Description
The Director of Revenue Accounting oversees financial accuracy and operational efficiency in revenue recognition, project accounting, and profitability for the agency business. This leadership role involves managing revenue close processes, developing procedures for ASC 606 compliance, managing unbilled and deferred revenue, overseeing cost of revenue accounting, partnering with Account and Project Management teams, supervising project accounting staff, resolving complex accounting issues, improving legacy processes, driving internal policy documentation, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, driving continuous improvement and automation, analyzing financial data, and managing and developing finance staff. The role also demands a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and adherence to ADA accommodation policies.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, 7-10 years of relevant experience managing revenue recognition and contractual interpretations, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software (notably Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O). Preferred qualifications include senior managerial experience, knowledge of project accounting, corporate finance, GAAP, ASC 606, financial forecasting, excellent organizational, leadership, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as CPA license. Physical demands include frequent sitting, reaching, grasping, some walking and talking, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and a generally moderately quiet office environment with interruptions.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $123,000 to $166,500 USD, subject to modification based on qualifications and location.
