Job Description
Geography includes TX, NM, AZ. EVERSANA partners with Sun Pharma for a field-based team within the Cutaneous Oncology Business Unit. The Cutaneous Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is a licensed nurse with oncology and/or immunology expertise supporting the U.S. launch of UNLOXCYT (cosibelimab), a PD-L1 inhibitor for advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC). The CNE provides clinical and educational support to Infusion Center Care Teams for UNLOXCYT use.
This field-based role educates and empowers healthcare professionals and infusion site personnel on the safe and confident use of UNLOXCYT. Responsibilities include serving as a clinical expert on UNLOXCYT, training nursing staff and advanced practice providers on product handling, adverse event management, and patient navigation. The CNE identifies educational needs, supports new prescribers, works with Sun Pharma’s commercial teams on account planning, represents Sun Pharma at industry meetings, engages with patient advocacy groups, and collaborates on internal training and field force education. The role requires travel up to 70% and residency within the territory.
Qualifications
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities include:
- Active RN license required
- BSN required; advanced nursing degrees like MSN, NP, APRN, DNP encouraged
- Minimum 5 years clinical oncology/immunology nursing experience; infusion experience preferred
- 2+ years in a field-based nurse educator or commercial educator role preferred
- Experience with oncology biologics, immunotherapies, or buy-and-bill products preferred
- Exceptional communication, presentation, organization and time management skills
- Familiarity with PHRMA & Sunshine Act Reporting requirements
- Ability to learn quickly, exhibit emotional intelligence, and maintain positivity
- Strong business acumen and ability to apply data for decision making
- Experience with healthcare providers in assigned geography
- Willingness to travel up to 70%, including overnight
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive required
- Compliance with vendor credentialing and vaccination requirements
