The Cutaneous Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) role is field-based covering NV, Southern CA (to Sacramento), AK, and HI, supporting the launch of UNLOXCYT (cosibelimab), a PD-L1 inhibitor for advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma.
The CNE serves as a clinical and educational resource for Infusion Center Care Teams, educating healthcare professionals and infusion site personnel on safe and effective use of UNLOXCYT.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as clinical subject matter expert on UNLOXCYT’s mechanism, protocol, safety, and clinical benefit
- Train nursing staff, pharmacists, and providers on product handling, adverse event management, and patient navigation
- Identify educational needs and support onboarding for new prescribers or sites of care
- Collaborate with Sun Pharma’s commercial teams for strategic account planning
- Represent Sun Pharma at industry meetings
- Provide clinical insights and feedback to shape strategy
- Engage with patient advocacy organizations for educational efforts
- Develop and contribute to internal training materials and CNE education
- Ensure effective territory coverage with colleagues
- Utilize analytics for CNE education plans and evaluate engagement effectiveness
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Active RN license required; BSN required, advanced nursing degree (MSN, NP, APRN, DNP) encouraged
- Minimum 5 years clinical oncology/immunology nursing experience, infusion experience preferred
- 2+ years field nurse educator or commercial educator experience preferred
- Experience with oncology biologics, immunotherapies, buy-and-bill products strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate complex science into patient-focused content
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with PHRMA & Sunshine Act Reporting requirements
- Ability to learn quickly, emotional intelligence, initiative, business acumen
- Must reside within territory and willing to travel up to 70%
- Valid driver's license and compliance with credentialing and vaccination requirements
