Job Description
Geography includes Mid and South FL, PR, MS. EVERSANA partners with Sun Pharma for a field-based role within their Cutaneous Oncology Business Unit. The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is a licensed nurse with oncology and/or immunology expertise to support the U.S. launch of UNLOXCYT (cosibelimab), a novel PD-L1 inhibitor for advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC). The role is field-based to educate and empower healthcare professionals and infusion site personnel on UNLOXCYT's use.
The CNE responsibilities include: serving as a clinical subject matter expert on UNLOXCYT, training infusion site staff, supporting new prescribers or care sites, collaborating with commercial teams, representing Sun Pharma at industry meetings, using clinical insights for strategy, engaging with patient advocacy groups, developing training materials, collaborating with CNE colleagues, understanding healthcare landscape, creating clinical education plans based on analytics, evaluating education effectiveness, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Active RN license
- BSN required; advanced nursing degrees encouraged (MSN, NP, APRN, DNP)
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience in hospital or clinic
- OCN/AOCN/AOCNP certification desirable or willingness to complete within 18 months
- Minimum 5 years oncology/immunology nursing experience; infusion experience preferred
- 2+ years in nurse educator or commercial educator roles preferred
- Experience with oncology biologics, immunotherapies preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of PHRMA & Sunshine Act Reporting requirements
- Competencies include quick learning, emotional intelligence, initiative, business acumen and HCP relationship experience
- Must reside within territory and willing to travel up to 70%
- Valid driver's license and willingness to comply with vendor credentialing and vaccination requirements
