About the role

The company seeks a Videographer who can create engaging digital content that grabs attention across social video and traditional TVCs. This role involves producing a high volume of polished, platform-native video ads weekly, leading content capture for the Pilot clinic in both vertical and landscape formats.
The ideal candidate is agile, experimental, and collaborates closely with creatives and producers to drive conversions and build brand awareness, with a significant creative runway as the brand grows to $70M+ in annual revenue.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead small to medium-sized shoots on location or in the on-site studio, collaborating with creatives and producers to turn briefs into engaging video content.
  • Edit a wide variety of lo-fi and hi-fi video content in vertical and landscape formats for performance marketing channels, YouTube, BVOD, and TVC.
  • Collaborate with video editor peers to improve storytelling and visual polish through sharing formats, ideas, new tools, experiments, and trends.
  • Brainstorm future video content ideas with creatives to create attention-grabbing videos driving conversions and brand awareness.
  • Support larger shoots/campaigns as 1st AC / B-Cam Operator / Data Wrangler with opportunities for A-Cam & DOP work.
  • Work with creatives/designers/producers through offline and online editing stages to ensure timely delivery of final assets.
  • Analyze performance and engagement metrics with the Growth Marketing Manager to iterate and optimize content based on feedback and performance.
  • Champion efficient editing workflows including ingesting footage, filing raw assets, and managing multiple versions and exports.

About you (Who you are):

  • 3-5+ years of experience in video content production and editing, preferably with YouTube or TVC experience.
  • Ability to independently shoot small to mid-sized video projects; operate Blackmagic, Canon, and Arri cameras; handle basic lighting and audio capture.
  • Extreme attention to detail, understanding of best practices for performance channels, and ability to create a strong visual narrative that drives conversions.
  • Collaborative and passionate about bringing ideas to life through video, comfortable sharing ideas and production solutions.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment balancing quality and velocity with an MVP mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders openly.
  • Proficient in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Davinci Resolve, editing for various performance marketing and landscape channels.
  • Knowledge of best practices in file management, workflow, and folder structure.
  • Basic skills in color correction and sound mixing.
  • Have a demo reel showcasing your best work.

Nice to have:

  • DOP / Directing experience.
  • Design or art direction experience.
  • After Effects skills for creating simple motion graphics.
  • Experience with Iconik, Figma, or Blackmagic Cloud tools.
  • Experience with color grading and sound design.
