About the role (What you’ll be doing)

• Develop and lead a Sydney-based medical support team, setting clinical standards and creating an environment for high-quality care.
• Embed a patient-first approach, ensuring improvements to the patient journey make patients feel safe, clear, and supported.
• Act as the escalation point for complex patient enquiries across Sydney HQ and offshore support teams, working cross-functionally to identify risks and drive process improvements.
• Provide clinical thought leadership externally through industry events, articles, and patient-centred content that explains the wraparound care model.

About you (Who you are)

• Registered nurse (AHPRA) with 5+ years experience in a clinical or patient-facing role, ideally in a fast-paced or telehealth environment.
• Proven experience leading and managing a clinical or healthcare team, including performance management and professional development.
• Skilled communicator who can navigate sensitive clinical and non-clinical conversations with empathy, clarity, and confidence.
• Strong clinical judgement and comfortable as the final escalation point for complex or high-risk cases.
• Natural problem-solver focused on systemic improvements.
• Excited about the intersection of technology, healthcare, and patient outcomes and helping define best-in-class digital care.
• Comfortable speaking in public and representing Eucalyptus externally.
• Embrace change, thrive in ambiguity, and are motivated by positive patient impact.

• Experience in weight management, chronic disease management, or GLP-1 pharmaceutical programs.
• Familiarity with offshore or distributed team operations.
• Experience as a media contributor, health writer, or public health communicator.
• Existing network in the Australian nursing or digital health community.
