Own core general ledger activities and the month-end close for designated EMEA entities, prepare and post journals (accruals, prepayments, intercompany entries, inventory adjustments, reclassifications) with full audit trail, perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances, and maintain reconciliations across NetSuite, internal reporting, and group reporting packages.

Drive management reporting by helping prepare monthly management accounts and P&L by department with clear commentary, support variance analysis against budget and prior periods, contribute to budgets, forecasts and rolling cash flow analyses for the UK market, and translate financial data into plain language for non-finance stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and internal control frameworks, assist with VAT returns and regulatory tasks, support external audit processes, and maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules where required.

Identify and implement opportunities to automate and streamline financial processes, partner with commercial, operations and clinical teams to gather data and surface insight, and support ad hoc projects and analysis as the business grows.

Part-qualified and actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA. 2–4 years in a finance or accounting role with hands-on exposure to financial and management accounting. Experience supporting or owning month-end close in a professional or commercial environment. Comfortable in an ERP system (NetSuite is a bonus). Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling). Exposure to multi-entity environments is a plus.
